Today I produced a promotional video for the track “Section 5” from the recently released album “Atmosphere in October / Ambient Buddhism (Hi-Res Audio)”.It is scheduled to be released tomorrow (October 17, 2024) at 7:00 pm Japan time. I used Canva Pro materials for the video and finished it in Final Cut Pro.I did not use any new gimmicks, and simply edited the video of the natural environment in black and white.Although it is a very common video of a natural environment, I believe that the viewer may be able to see some kind of form in it.I believe that these are signs of the subconscious mind, and each person will see them differently.I would like people to watch the…

I am currently working on an ambient piece for the high-resolution version of the Ambient Buddhism series.In this age of listening to music on smartphones, more and more people are listening to music digitally, but most of the music available through subscriptions is of less than CD quality. Against this background, I believe that more and more people are demanding higher quality sound.In order to meet such needs, releasing music in high-resolution format is a path that cannot be avoided.The only drawback is the large file size. I will be releasing a new high-res Ambient Buddhism album on bandcamp soon. (Maybe I will release it today)

Account opened with Audius, end of August 2024 I recently opened an account at Audius and uploaded a few original songs, which are available for free in both the browser and app versions of Audius.I haven't uploaded all of my original songs yet, but I plan to add more as I go along, so if anyone who sees this article is interested, please check it out. What made me decide to open an account with Audius was its immediacy and its use of blockchain technology. About Ambient Buddhism
I would like to explain again about Ambient Buddhism. Ambient music, as proposed by Brian Eno, is defined as "music that blends into the surrounding environment." It also has the ambiguity of music that is interesting but negligible. I believe this is similar to the Buddhist concept of ``awareness,'' which expands our consciousness and encourages us to become more deeply aware of our surroundings. Buddhist thought places emphasis on letting go of personal ego and attachment, and ambient music also aims to blend into the background without attracting too much attention from the listener.
