Today’s Schedule July 20, 2024

diary

Japan will be about 36 degrees today.
Everyone is obsessed with heatstroke prevention goods.
I’m trying to drink lots of water.

I work part time at a dry cleaning factory from morning until late afternoon.
I can’t live on music alone, but I also enjoy the physical exertion and sweat that comes with the work.
After that, I plan to upload some YouTube videos.
I plan to release the PV for “snapshot,” a video that has been available in the membership, prior to the album’s release.
I also plan to pre-order and post the video for “Ambient Buddhism LIVE2024,” which I decided to release on short notice.
The release is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. Japan time on the 21st.
I upload videos to YouTube every week, but this is harder than I thought.
I get comments every day on YouTube, which is very encouraging. It’s sad that no one comments from Japan, though.

I feel that in Japan, music that sells well for young listeners dominates, and there is less diversity than before.
I think it is because of social networking sites. When one thing becomes a hit, imitations of it spread on social networking sites, and other things seem to be getting buried. Minor things seem to be getting pushed into the corner.
When I listen to the music of hit makers who are popular in Japan, I feel that Japan is moving more and more toward the high road of pop music. This includes rock musicians and hip-hop artists.
I’m enjoying this situation as well.
I just continue to follow my instincts and make music.
