Before I resumed my music activities, there was a time when I focused on my photography activities and took a lot of pictures every day. After I resumed my music activities, I took fewer photos, but I did not quit photography per se, I just prioritized music.
Partly because my main camera broke down, but also because I was stuck on how to express myself through photography.

Recently, however, I have been thinking of energetically taking photographs alongside my music production.
I am considering looking for an older generation camera and lenses and going into debt to purchase them.

I feel that the act of photography is an important act for me. Rather than taking a photograph as a work of art, I feel that the act of “carefully observing” an object or event is more important.
In the past, I used to be so conscious of being an artist that I only took eccentric works, but now I have relaxed my shoulders and am trying to take pictures of the environment around me in a straightforward manner.

The camera I am thinking of buying now is an Olympus OM-D EM5, a micro four thirds standard compact camera. I am planning to buy a 60mm macro lens from the same Olympus.

My main cameras have been Canon EOS7D, Ricoh GR, SIGMA DP3 Merrill, etc., but those have been sold off or broken and are no longer left.

Making a living from photographic works is no mean feat. I am thinking of resuming my photography activities just to satisfy my creative urge.

I plan to post photos mainly on flickr, but I will also publish similar photos on Instagram.
I would be happy if you could access and follow me.
