Diary from Japan 07/22/2024
Today, we were revising the page structure of the Web site.
I used to put direct links to bandcamps on the release works page, but I was concerned that the display was too large for Jimdo’s service, so I stopped using direct links and changed it to a list format.
I think it is much easier to see now.
As is the case with this blog, the text on the website is produced by thinking in Japanese and changing it to English using a translation tool. Therefore, there may be some grammatical errors, but please forgive them.
Now, as for other work, I was thinking about a problem that has been troubling me for some time.
As I’ve mentioned in other articles, I work part time in between productions in order to focus solely on producing the music I want to do.
I am not very well off, and I own only the bare minimum of equipment for my production.
In this situation, I feel the need for an analog mixer for my production, and I have been wondering whether I should buy one or not.
I used to own a larger mixer, but I had to sell it to make ends meet, and now I’m not using a mixer anymore.
I used to record with a microphone by plugging it directly into my audio interface. I don’t use outboards at all.
However, it was always a hassle to change the settings when other ideas came to mind during production.
I’ve been looking for an analog mixer, because it affects my motivation.
If possible, I would like to get a compact one made by Soundcraft.
Will I be able to find a good used one?
I hope I can find a good one…
