My plans for 2025
Happy New Year!
Last year was a year in which the number of listeners to my music increased dramatically through the full-scale release of my work on bandcamp and the opening of my YouTube channel.
I’ve been a one-man independent musician for a long time, and I’m surprised at myself because I didn’t have very good results until 2023.
I resumed my music career around 2020, but it was a continuous process of trial and error until 2023.
I confess that at the beginning of 2020, I resumed my music activities with the motive of somehow earning a living through music, which I was good at, but as I made music, I began to see a vision of the music I wanted to do, and I switched to doing the music I wanted to do properly, ignoring monetization, by The end of 2023.
It was at the beginning of 2024 that I released Ambient Buddhism, an album of ambient music, which was my original roots.
I am a clumsy person. I like listening to commercial music, but I just couldn’t bring myself to make it myself. There are a lot of commercial music professionals out there.
From there, I decided to start releasing experimental techno and electronica under a different name, in addition to ambient music, and to take on other challenges.
However, I believe that my basis is in ambient music. I feel that the freedom of ambient music suits me perfectly.
From the other side, the ambient music I am making now may not be ambient music at all. But I continue to compose as if I am making ambient music.
This year, I am preparing to subscribe to music subscriptions so that more listeners can hear my music.
Of course, I plan to release many new albums this year.
I am excited to see what the future holds for me.
